I've been here several times since my last review. It's always so close to being perfect. The last time I ordered a chicken empanada for dine in but the dough was raw. And the filling was cold but delicious!!! Just needed more time in the oven. This time I ordered delivery. Old fashioned tomato pie and the eggplant rollatini appetizer. The pizza was awesome in flavor but super cold. The chunky tomato sauce was sweet and delicious. Definitely thin crust. There is no description on the menu for the eggplant rollatini. I assumed eggplant and cheese. It had ham. Normally I wouldn't care but it's Friday during lent. I ate it and it was really good. I don't think it needed the ham. Made it too salty with the cheese. The eggplant was cooked perfectly.
Place is amazing my favorite place to go to. They cool food fresh. Prices are good. Service great
If you're looking for a New York pizza, thin crust crunchy on the bottom flavorful, this is the spot. And that Eastridge pasta I'm not sure what they put in that but I will be getting that again. 10/10 next time I'll post pictures
First time back since new ownership took over. Interior was freshened up and it doesn't feel dirty like it used to. There was a server taking care of guests sitting and the smell coming from the kitchen, you know it's fresh. We ordered a tomato pie. The crust was perfect, thin crispy and not a hint of being burnt. The sauce was just the right amount of sweet with whole pieces of tomato. Evenly balanced with herbs. Next we will try a regular pizza although it is going to be difficult not getting a tomato pie.
Pizza is THE BEST!! Thin crust, great sauce, quality cheese!!! And under $20 for large pizza with pepperoni and 4 waters.
East Ridge has new owner, and they deliver! Our family love eating at the restaurant, wonderful family environment and service. They have the best penne a la vodka, omg. Their pizza is awesome and calzone, yes yes yes. Two nights ago, we were craving pizza, and we placed an order for delivery. Wow!! The pizza tasted just like it came out of the oven. So crispy and hot. Loved it.
The pizza is exemplary, thin, crispy- you will return. Remember that you don't go to a pizzeria for culture, the service can be gruff. Enjoy.
